We like to use the "tell, show, do" approach in explaining dental techniques and procedures to the child. Our doctors and team talk to children in a way that they enjoy and understand. Most dental procedures are completed with local anesthesia. However, for the very young, uncooperative, or fearful child, nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation are available treatment options.
