We’re Open!

We’re happy to announce the reopening of our practice. Our team is excited to see our patients and we are taking small steps towards returning to normal with safety as our number one priority.  Thank you so much for your support during this difficult time.
Please note that as a result of COVID-19, we have updated some of our daily procedures. You’ll still receive the same great service from our dedicated team, however to ensure the safety of all our patients we’ve implemented the following changes in accordance to the most recent guidelines of  the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

All check-in forms, including updating medical history, should be done on-line, prior to your child’s appointment.

New screening questions will be asked through our on-line forms and upon arrival for your appointment.  Anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the building and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date when your child is well.

To ensure social distancing, you will be asked to call us when you arrive for your appointment. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time for check-in  to avoid lengthy waits in cars for other patients.  We apologize for this necessary inconvenience. A team member will come to your car to check your temperature and to complete the check-in process.

Everyone will be required to wear a mask upon entering the building.  Due to shortages with suppliers, we ask that you please bring your own for you and your child.

To properly ensure social distancing we can allow 1 parent or guardian into the office with their child. If you are comfortable waiting in your car and sending older children in on their own that is ok as well. One of our team members will be happy to walk them out when their visit is complete.

When you enter the building you will be asked to use hand sanitizer and then you will be directly escorted into a private treatment room

We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you. However, these adjustments may decrease available options for scheduling appointments. These changes reflect our commitment to prioritize safety over all else. The Doctor you see this day may be different than the one you were originally scheduled with and we appreciate your trust in our care.

Please bring the following for your child’s appointment to maximize their comfort:

A blanket or warm clothes (internal temperature will be lower than usual to keep staff wearing extra protective clothing to be comfortable);

Any entertainment for a sibling who may be waiting for a scheduled appointment

Stuffed animal or other item that makes your child feel safe.

Check-out will be done primarily from the treatment room.  We will reserve your child’s next appointment for you and ask that you call back to reschedule for any conflicts. We ask for your patience as we work to streamline this process.

All surfaces including countertops and door handles will be cleaned between each patient. Patient restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day and we ask that you and your child try to use the restroom at home prior to your visit, if possible.
We are looking forward to seeing our patients again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you safe in our practice. To make an appointment or to ask any questions, please call our office at 904-215-7800.
We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing your smiles!

Sincerely,

Drs. Kailes, Staman, and Johnston
